    engine spit my fuel line at me

    In October I was attempting to crab on MD's eastern shore and my '90 Evinrude 48 spl spat the fuel line at me then refused to start or even turn over, where should I start? As it was in the shop 3x (carb dirty=$800+) this yr and I am broke, hungry to fish n crab. Thank you kindly.
