    1981 Evinrude 35 hp .starts and runs great won't shut of.

    It had a badly broken and Burnt wire harness. I replaced the wire harness and power pack. It starts quick and runs great. Will not shut down by turning off the key. It's on a 1981 RinkerBuilt Fiberglass fishing boat. Any idea's? Thanks Kevin

    I have an 1981 Evinrude 35 hp. It had a bunch of bad wires.i replaced the wire harness and power pack it starts and runs great, but won't shut off with key. I have to chock it out. Thanks Kev

    1981 Evinrude 35 hp cranks won't start

    I got this motor and the wiring was shot. I replaced the wiring harness and the starter solenoid. Motor cranks getting gas, but not firing.Fuses are could. I am wondering if it would be the power pack? I don't want to keep just putting parts in it and have nothing in the end. Thanks for any...
