    about 3/4 quart of gas in my oil in 10 minutes running on the hose. 1995 50hp mercury 4!stroke. The fuel pump seems to check out could It still be defective and seem fine? The engine ran great last time out no problems at all haven’t taken it out since I found the gas in oil.

    Well turns out to be gas in my oil like you have said. My fuel pump seems to check out tho no leaks coming from it. Thinking of changing it anyway to see. Any other causes of this much gas getting into my oil. Thank you.

    About 10 minutes of running with fresh oil and the reservoir was very very high.

    So I recently replaced my impeller and seems like just after that I am getting water in my ENGINE oil. Could I have damaged anything while putting lower unit back together.
