    Hello, can anyone tell me about the heat exchanger on a Volvo penta Aq131d? Are there any moving parts inside or just a resivoir for the coolant and water? Do they go bad?

    1989 Volvo Penta Aq131d Overheating

    Hello, I have a 20' Imperial with a volvo penta Aq131d. It starts great but after about 7-10 minutes the temp jumps up to 200 degrees while I am idling in my well. The water pump is working and I put new coolant in at the beginning of the season. I'm a little puzzled about the heat exchanger...
