    cut out switch ?

    I have previously asked about my 58 35 hp not starting. Some one,before me,has removed the cutout switch and\or a mercury switch from this motor. In the remaining tube they placed a bolt. My question is would this keep the motor from starting and what should I do? thanks, Joel.

    Hello, I have been working on this 35 hp lark and I am puzzled. It was not running when i the motor but it looks clean.
