    A mind of its own

    Pulled flywheel from 85 90:-P johnson and cleaned timing advance and applied lite coat of bearing grease to bottom, also replaced water pump. It started right up and ran at idle for about 15 seconds and then revved wide open by itself. What have I done wrong.

    Water pump problems

    I have a motor that has no identification,has90hp cover. I'm trying to replace the water pump.The water pump housing has a number 389643 and an M separate from the number. I can't find this anywhere. Could anybody help me.

    I received quite a shock when I tried to adjust a spark plug wire holder while running my outboard. Is this a bad ground ?

    Can anyone tell me about a caustic solution used to run through motors run in salt water?

    Ole guy

    I'm new. I have a1985 115hp johnson and with spark plugs removed while rotating flywheel I get binding and a scrubbing noise, can't tell where noise is coming from.
