    lower unit/controller cable question

    I have a 28ft carver with a 240 merc in it. When I bought the boat the shift lever when in forward full speed had to be brought back to neutral then back to forward to go forward at a slower speed and when I did that there was always a little clunk in the shifter. Well anyways I lost forward...
