    "My plate on the transom is MI "My plate on the transom is MIA...I have a 150 Merc, probably early 80's maybe late 70's model. Is the serial number located anywhere else on the motor? Thanks"

    150 Merc Outboard Wonbt Plane

    Early 80's merc 150 V6 won Early 80's merc 150 V6 won't plane...but it has before. When I go the boat it didn't plane..then I cleaned carbs and ran seafoam and it planed...leads me to believe I have decent compression. Electrical Problem?
