    '55 Evinrude 15 hp fastwin throttle gear/rod replace

    Just got a '55 Evinrude Fastwin 15 but the throttle gears are shot(all teeth come to points on both gears) and trying to get replacements. Does anyone know if '56 Evinrude Fastwin 15 or a '57 Evinrude 18 would work? Thanks, Joe
