    Mariner 1984 115 hp Bogs Down

    I have a mariner 115hp, 1984, this weekend as I was going along the motor began to bog down and then stalled. After a few minutes it would start but then stall again. After some time it would start and I was able to idle back to the dock and trailered it. Bad gas, water in gas, what???

    No reverse on mariner 115 hp 1984

    I have a Mariner 115, 1984, that will not engage reverse completely. If I idle in reverse it will spin the prop, and any acceleration at all kicks it out. I tried adjusting the linkage, to steal a little from forward and give it to reverse, that only made the forward not engage properly. My...
