    Change thermostat while in the water?

    I have a 1999 bayliner capri 2050 with a 305 v-8 2 bbl. The boat is in the water. Is it possible to change a thermostat while it's in the water or do I have to put it on the trailer to do so? Thanks It's sea water cooled.

    ^ 6hp hard to pull start.

    I have a 1967 6 hp evinrude. Why is it so hard to pull the rope to start it? It's only a 6 hp! Some motors spin easily an then you get the rpms higher so it starts easier. I have to use both hands to pull the rope. Am I missing something or is there something I can oil? Thanks Scott

    Hard to "find" neutral.
