    Kohler 5E Marine Generator.

    No, according to Sea Ray electrical diagram, (2005 320) I have 4 batteries. Then inner 2 batteries are the Starboard batteries, and the outside batteries are for the Portside engine. The generator starter is connected to the portside battery.

    Thanks Mark for the great advice. I had another marine mechanic tell me that the even though the generator produces ACV, when running it charges the starting battery. He suggested I start there considering its the DCV that's effective.
