    40D tohatsu sputtering at high trrottle

    I have a 40D tohatsu that sputters at high throttle then after a while it clears up. I use approved plugs and new fuel. The motor is about 8 yrd old. What can I do to remedy this situation. What adjustments are necessary, How do I clean the carb if necessary
