    Wiring Problem on 50 LPDI

    Diagram is in the owner's manual with the soft green cover. Doesn't help much. I'm amazed that no one has a 50 or 60 hp Tohatsu on their boat. It'd be a simple thing to take a quick look for that red/yellow wire and see where it goes. If you do, it'll be greatly appreciated.

    On my paperwork it's listed as a "Low Pressure Direct Injection" motor. TLDI is same thing. I'd hoped for something a little more helpful. As it sits, it's un-saleable. My boat motor is a real good boat anchor right now.

    Update. Weather's better so got after it. I checked the 2 spark coils with an ohmmeter and found both to be the same: from the orange input wire to ground shows 0.2 ohms and from input wire to spark out terminal shows 242 ohms. .2 is just right, 242 should be 240, but should be OK. Both...
