    Thank you for your timely reply. The impeller was replaced shortly before we purchased the boat, an Aquasport 196, but I may replace it just to be safe. In the mean time, I’ll run the hose down—thanks!

    I have a 1996 Johnson 130 that runs great, my issue is the tale-tell. As in—there’s not one, or very little of one. I’ve had the boat 2 years with steady use and it never has run hot.
