    johnsons 70hp 84.y No power.

    I got this engine for last few months and I have done everything whatever need to be replaced.Engine Idles fine with flush hose plugged in.When I drop into water its fine just when I open throttles its dieing. I puled spark plug out and they wet just middle cylinder its nice and dry.Any Idea...

    Johnson 70HP,1984 no power when in gear.

    Hi. Im getting problem with my outboard....... befor I bought this engine cought fire with previouse owner.Faulty rectifier blown all main harnesses.I did replace main harnesses,rectifier,spark plugs,power pack,new water pump with water tube,fixed carbis(new carb kits) and still Im not happy...
