    Due to fluid leakage, I replaced the seal on the trim cylinder cap on my 1996 48 spl Evinrude. When replacing the piston and trim rod, air pressure kept the piston from going all the way to the bottom of the cylinder, but I can still replace the cap. Is this ok?
