    Need help installing a stator on a Merc 800 80hp 1978. There are so many holes that line up not sure which way it goes. hoping someone can help me. lining up the wires out of it may be best way, but not sure where they go. thanks

    more 35 trouble

    my 76 35 hp is giving me trouble loosing spark in one cylinder intermittantly. also quits pumping water after running for awhile. Checked for blockages and put in new impeller. never seen this before. Anyone help me with these. Thanks

    76 35 hp bining

    Have a 76 35 horse evinrude. after heating up the flywheel binds with the armature plate. obviously it shuts down. when pulling the rope to restart you can see the plate turn with the flywheel. Never seen this before. anyone have a clue how to stop this? thanks

    88 v-150 wont idle in gear in water

    have a 1988 v-150 merc that will not idle in the water. with muffs on idles fine. in water hard to start hot unless fast idle arm is raised. out of water idles fine as soon as i touch the key. my mechanic is telling me that the problem is todays fuel. i need to rejet my carb. anyone know what...

    1976 35hp evinrude wont run with choke open

    Just picked up a 35 evinrude 1976. will only ruin a short time with choke closed. quits as soon as i open it. hard to start after that. will also quit on its own after a short time. any suggestion on whats wrong. thanks

    gamefisher 15. lacks power

    have a 94 gamefisher 15. 225.581496 starts and runs on first pull. runs smooth but will not rev. Seems to use too much fuel. had a tach on it only got 3800 rpm. dont think its over proped. could my carb be dirty? any help would be appriciated. thanks
