    25 HP Johnson - won't stop

    I just bought a 1996 25 HP johnson 3 cylinder, 3 carbs, model J25RMEDC. Running a little rough, but starts good, just the carbs a little gummed up after it sat for 2 years, I guess. HOWEVER, the kill switch doesn't kill the engine if I take the clip off it, and there is no other stop switch...
