    1998 115 Mercury outboard gremlins

    Just bought this motor on an older Seacraft and keeps intermittently shutting off(usually out in the Long Island sound). Engine runs rough for a moment then cuts off. Immediately after this happens I hear a ticking noise coming from the motor. The motor then turns over and restarts. More...
