    1977 115 hp evinrude

    I have a 1977 115 hp evinrude outboard....had issues with the cooling system, got those resolved...but now when we start it on the muffs will run and idle great! ....as soon as it gets put in a lake with back pressure on it we cant get it to idle let alone stay running! What is going on here...

    1977 115 not getting any water through system after lower unit reseal/new water impeller!!!! HELP!!

    Hello... I have a 1977 115 evinrude that is not getting any water though the cooling system after lower unit was resealed and a new water impeller and plate were installed. We thought it might be the thermostat, removed that to bypass and still not getting ANYTHING ! Model #115799s...
