    Thank you for the reply! Is that what you call the pivot bolt? This is indeed the one that doesn't want to loosen, and hence I can't rotate the alternator. Is that OK to use PB Blast on those bolt and nut? Thanks!

    Hello all, I am trying to replace the alternator belt on my 2GM20F Yanmar engine, but there is no way I can rotate the alternator. I did loosen the bolt that is holding it in place on the moon-shaped bracket, but it's stuck on its rotation axis. Any tips? Thanks in advance!
