    Spoke to mechanic, since he replaced the stator the flywheel key was checked during replacement. He stated the spark was good.

    This motor has a jet foot installed, original from Johnson. The impeller-liner has been checked and is within tolerance. I will have the spark and flywheel checked and will report back.

    Some background information. The carburetors were swapped with 70Hp carbs at dealership when boat was purchased in 2000. Outboard bogs down at wot. Will only get about 4200 rpm. I have been chasing this for about one year. Have replaced fuel lines from tank to motor, gas tank has been swapped...

    No spark on bottom cylinder

    I have no spark on bottom coil on 2000 Johnson 60 hp. I swapped coil with another that had spark and the no spark stayed on bottom coil. What should I check next, the power pack?
