    Frozen Shaft

    I just purched a small Fg boat I just purched a small Fg boat with a "85" 35 hp merc. Owner told me it over heated so I started taking the lower unit off to check the water pump housing and impeller. The drive shaft seems to be frozen in the power head. Any one have any ideas?

    1962 johnson electric shift

    No forward drive I've take No forward drive I've taken apart the lower end and found that the front coil was junk.I ordered a new one and installed it but it doesn't read on the OHM meter.Anyone that can help me with the electric shift?
