    It didn't stop with an instant "STOP", rather it sounder like it was running out of fuel, or needed more choke I had never heard a motor seize in live time, and really didn't think any thing was out of the ordinary, until I tried the pull cord again. Thanks for your input. I'll keep you up to speed.

    I will give you a follow up after I check things out. I hung this motor on a hanger last summer... and I never checked anything before I pulled the cord yesterday... pretty stupid to say the least... I should have known better.

    Hi... I just started my motor for the first time this year... 1995 BF2, 4 stroke. It ran like a champ for about 5 minutes and then stalled. I tried to pull on the cord again, but it would not budge. Rock solid. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Either through this forum or...
