    how does one know if the ground is defective? would lack of control come from faulty switch? or something deeper in the unit?

    Yamaha 1991 25hp ESHP

    Hey guys, Yamaha 25hp 1991 ESHP my starter relay I thought was what needed fixing. I bought a new starter relay Yamaha genuine. Now I get 12 volts @ my battery. I get 12v from my battery to the left post of starter relay but when I hit the start button no transfer of power, no click. Any ideas?
