    Alpha 1 Gen 1 trim issue

    1990 4.3 Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 1 Drive will trim up and down with motor running, won't come up with motor off, goes down ok. Does click when I hit the button but no movement, any ideas? Also, won't start with the key. Replaced the slave solenoid thinking that was it and it still won't crank...

    Alpha 1 shift cable adjustment

    1990 Sea Ray, 4.3 Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 1 Boat was stuck in reverse, no neutral or forward. Removed lower unit and sterndrive housing trying to diagnose. Found the problem was lower shift cable at the linkage. Replaced lower shift cable today, set length to 6", now I have nothing, no gears at...
