    jumps out of gear

    I have a 1968 johnson 20hp bought it used and was told the top half was rebuilt seem to run ok but i think its miss firing put 2 new plugs in it. I took it out on the water and it is still missing and popping out of gear. Is this a timing problem? Or could it be caused from the wrong fuel/oil...
