None of my gauges are working on my 2002 caravelle 4.3 v6. I jumped 12v from my fuse box to one of the purple wires on the back of the gauges. They all started to work again so I know the problem is that I’m not getting 12v to the gauges. I traced the purple wire all the way back to the engine...
Can I use the starter that goes on a chevy s10 since the mercruiser 4.3 is the same thing? If so how do I wire it up because i noticed my boat starter has an extra pin on the solenoid?
There is a nipple on my mercruiser 4.3 v6 distributor that looks like a vacuum hose is suppose to connect to. If so where does it go to? If not do I just cap it?
