    I have a Mariner 40EL 6E9 416986, I believe it is a 1985, please correct me if I am wrong. I recently purchased a 14' Mkee Craft with this motor on it and the steering they have set up is a nightmare. The cable is too long and the steering link arm is from a motor of un-known size.
