    Evinrude 20 surging

    The throttle handle isn't working, I've been using the throttle control lever underneath the engine block which works the same as using the throttle on the handle, I just was just adjusting the throttle on the carby for demonstration purposes. Has the same issue regardless.

    Hey all, I picked up a running Evinrude 20 for free (late 90s I'm guessing, no Identifying plates on it). So sometimes it surges over about quarter or third throttle, fixes itself temporarily after adjusting the carby slightly and letting sit off for a few minutes. But the issue comes back...
