    1989 125hp hard start and idle

    My 1989 will not start and when it does it will idle for about 2-3 seconds and then die. I checked the compression 120,60,120,120. all my spark gaps were 3/8”. I cleaned the carburetors. I checked my stator with a multimeter and it was fine.

    1989 125HP force outboard

    PLEASE HELP!!! The motor is super hard to start and once its started it wont idle for longer than 3 second but, if you can put it into gear before it dies it runs good until you go to idle again and then it dies. Does anyone know what i can do to maybe fix this?? I have cleaned the carbs and...
