Today i have installed a starter wich came from my busted 1985 merc 115hp. now i dont have any remote control and i was wondering how i could jump start to test out if everything is ok spark and all whitout giving in fuel. should i tap in the pos from the battery onto the yellow wire...

    could any one help me out to find these 2 engine year and as much info as possible 7075688 and 7220689 looking to switch pieces from 1 to the other just wondering if it would work! thank you
