    Fuel injected. I figured no block available. That why I see every power head is refurbished. Having a hard time posting a picture any one have a suggestion?

    All ready retired. Engineers sometimes have way of over complicating things. They want to build a better mousetrap. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.

    Times have changed.I am old school. We’re we would repair our self. But that’s not possible anymore when parts are not available. Putting a power head on it is not worth it. When I can get a new outboard for a couple grand more with a full warranty

    Yes it makes you wonder when they out source the parts out of this country. In my time I have seen old mercury, evinrude, Johnson run for ever. I have seen anything like this.

    Oem prop. The 90 hp was on a Lund fishing impact 1675. We had the boat 10 years. Used boat at least 4 weeks out of the season since I had it. I didn’t troll with.     Cost of a power head installed is 2000 less than a new mercury 90 installed. If I do it myself I can save a few bucks

    I’m am tempted to pull it apart and find out if the wrist pin froze or a keeper came off and sucked a valve in.

    2015 90 hp 4 stroke with 200 hours on . Had out last week. Running around 1800 rpm . Threw a connecting rod through the block. Has anyone heard of this happening
