    1948 Johnson 5 hp TD Shear pin size

    Does anyone know the length and diameter of the shear pin for this model? I've got a 1958 18 hp that I use 3/16 brass rod for my shear pins. I was just curious if anyone knew before I pulled it off and measured it.

    I just bought a Sea King outboard model # 45GG9016A - serial # 510760 I'd like to learn what size hp and year it is. also the best fuel mix for it. Thanks
