    Hey Guys, was told it was 1985 but it is a Mariner 30HP with serial number showing 689 S 023032 I am trying to clean / replace jets for carb since I cant get the thing to run.. If I put carb cleaner directly into carb it will run for about 5 seconds but then dies again.. replaced spark plugs...

    Took fuel line off carb and when I squeeze primer bulb fuel is coming out, that mean fuel pump is good? Sorry I am an idiot with this stuff

    Took carb off and cleaned it all up, nothing looks damaged or off… any other ideas to try before throwing in the towel?

    Little bit of carb cleaner does get it to start for a second but then dies.. fuel issue?

    So far replace spark plugs, checked for a spark, had a spark on top and bottom, new fuel with 50:1 mix. Ran last week.. any help is greatly appreciated!
