    1989 Johnson 175 shift and throttle hook up

    I am trying to re hookup the throttle and shift rods to the engine and I am having trouble finding out which one goes where, I tried hooking them back up the way I remember but the cable will slide out of the grommet and not shift the engine.

    I am trying to replace the impeller on my 1989 johnson 175 and I am trying to find the screw that holds the shift rod. I looked in the manual but the picture is not very clear. Dose anyone have a picture of the screw that I am looking for?

    1989 Johnson 175 High temp alarm?

    I have a 1989 Johnson 175. Every time I run the boat at full speed for more then a minute the alarm (which I am guessing is the high temp alarm) goes off. It is a constant ring and will not stop unless I cut the boat off and let it sit for awhile. I can idle around for as long as I want to and...

    Unknown part

    Hi I was wondering if someone could tell me what this hole is and if it is supposed to have something connected to it. when running, water pours out of it and into the case. The motor is a 1989 Johnson gt 175.
