    1968 Evinrude Fisherman outboard

    My 1968 6 HP outboard runs great with the cover off. When I put the cover on the rpms slow down and it runs smokey. Take the cover off and rpms come back up and smoke clears. It seems like there is not enough air mixing with the fuel when the cover is on. There is no adjustment on the carborator...
