    Advice on 20 hp evinrude

    I have a mid 80's 20 hp evinrude that has developed a high pitch whine. Not real loud but certainly noticeable at low rpm. I was told that it could be a berring going south and I might as well sell it as a parts motor. Runs great but not sure what to think. Any comments greatly appreciated. Brian
