    I have a Mariner 9.9M serial# 682-CL 324668. I’m trying to remove the lower unit to access the water pump. I disconnected the shift linkage at the coupler located about halfway down the shaft and it still won’t pop off. Any knowledge about the year of the motor or additional steps I need to take...
