    I have a new tube insert to go on copper tube on the powerhead end of tube trying to figure out how it installs does not seem to fit inside powerhead where tube goes is the insert just a guide or i am i missing some thing

    I am having an issue taking the driveshaft gear off put in vise tried to turn nut without success is that the correct method to remove gear and shaft

    Mercury 60hp 1989 lower unit

    I have the l/u off able to move shift rod into all three positions drive shaft turns prop in forward and reverse same direction. I am trying to make sure before I put it back together is that norm or should prop shaft lock in both directtions when engaged.
