    I read somewhere that there’s an exhaust seal at that point ? Maybe have to remove the lower unit and cover to get at it ? Going to be doing the water pump soon anyway .

    Hello , I have a 2014 yamaha 115 outboard . I have two small burn marks on both sides of the cover . Not sure what the cover is called but it’s midway . Below the power head but above the lower unit . Paint has minor melt on either side . Tried to load a picture . Hope it came through . Anybody...
