    Fuel Leak

    Just bought a year old Merc 4 hp from a friend. Haven't used it yet but he tells me it leaks fuel. The fuel line connections seem tight and I don't detect any leaks in the fuel tank. So that leaves the fuel pump or the carb. Does anyone know of any inherent problems with these small engines...
