    Oxygen sensor wire broken

    I have a 200hp honda that is dropping revs when going over 2000rpm. Drops revs going over the ocean swell as we'll. Found the sensor wire has come away and just hanging on the first filter which I think is the oxygen sensor?. Would this broken wire be effecting the performance of the motor? thanks
