    1980 70hp Evinrude 4 pin Coil connector question

    Just replaced the 3 old leaky coils with 3 new OEM. The old 4 pin connector was a pain. The wire connected to the "DE" 4th pin broke in the process which is a good thing since it was clearly corroded. I'm considering replacing the whole 4 pin connector but am curious if there's a reason I...
