    i have a 83 25hp evinrude ,rebuilt the fuel pump,went thru carb new needle seat, float,also installed electric start, several issues, engine would run with choke fully closed, if left open choke plate would flutter open and closed on its own , cranked engine over and held hand over carb and it...

    ok ,i just rebuilt this engine, fired it up ,does anyone know where the pee hole for the water outlet is? this engine has a rubber corragated tube under the cylinder head and exiting out the back is this where the water should come out of? i pulled the t-stat cover off and did not have any water...

    i just ordered two new pistons and wrist pins for a 1959 evinrude 35 hp and I need to know if the wrist pins are press fit or should they slide into the pistons , I can only slide the wrist pin through one side of the piston then it stops it is press fit the rest of the way or is something else...
