    Started up Merc 383 with Alpha ss drive and no water out of thru hull exhaust. Took hose off cooler and is pumping very little water.     Rebuilding Alpha 1 trim rams

    My gen 1 rams need new o-ring My gen 1 rams need new o-ring seals. Question is should the shock piston assembly be replaced also? If it is not damaged then why replace it. What do you say experts.
