mercury seapro 10 losing power

Hi Guys, my 10 starts perfectly, and idles, it travels at low speed with no dramas, as soon as I give it full throttle it dies, cuts out and has low power. I have drained the fuel lines and changed fuel, changed spark plugs which were running a tan color and drained the carby. Could it be a blocked main jet? If so, does the whole carby have to come out to change it? What size is the plug jet retainer on the bottom of the carby bowl?

I am having the same issue (15hp Mariner)- motor idles fine, travels at low speed etc but dies off when I accelerate. I brought it home put it in the barrel and ran it there where it accelerated just fine. Couldn't figure it out and think it may be that that the fuel tank air vent was stuck closed. Running on a different tank at home was not a problem (air vent open). Worth checking as you could get lucky and it could be as ridiculously simple as this.

Thanks Punter...tried that with no change to the situation, funnily enough, I could get full revs when I ran it in the tank.

Maybe I'll still be having the same trouble when I put it back on the boat and run it under load. Was looking through the manual and trying to tick off all the easy fixes. I've done all the things you have and rebuilt the carb (new gaskets, flushed it out). Spark is good on mine too.
