Yamaha remote shifter

2018 yamaha shifter. At canal speeds and at cruising speeds, the throttle creeps back. At ay other speed the throttle is tight. I tried to adjust the tensioner but I just can't get it smooth thru the entire throttle range. If I back off the tensioner then the throttle creeps back. Is there something that needs to be cleaned? I have never had a shifter that is lose someplace and tight in others.

Yamaha makes at least three different types of control boxes. Do you have any idea what type of control box you have?

I don't know what shifter it is. Its 2018 right side single handl shifter.
