Yamaha F115 2001 loss of power, dies from idle

Hi.

Please see video of power loss on high rpm`s. This happens occasionally and for longer duration usually, than seen in the video.
Have recently replaced the water seperation filter (outside motor) + filter with the red ring inside motor.

Often the engine dies when either going from idle and into gear + sometimes when coming down from higher rpm`s
This is likely not related as i saw this issue before the loss of power occured.

Any tips for checking?

As always the first thing I suggest is a compression test.----Post the actual values.----Any water getting into the oil ?

Good tip, will need to aqquire some equipment then. Or get in contact with someone that can do the work.
There is no indication of water in the oil.

Run with a timing light 1 cylinder at a time.------Might be able to pinpoint ignition failure that way.
